Now you don't have to wonder if a flood of hot molten mud is booking its way over to your house, you can know. Which, as anyone my age can tell you, is approximately 50% of the overall battle.

I like the webcam. Sadly, the frequency of fireworks is pretty low.
This is a difficult area for people who enjoy worrying about how they are going to die, and prefer the dramatic to the banal. In this immediate area, we are too far from the volcanoes to be in their destruction zones, we are sheltered from most oceanic storms, earthquakes are very rare, and we build things pretty well.
We are all doomed to tediously banal deaths. Woe is us.
